Description:
He is a puppy with brown fur, white paws, and white fur around his nose. In bottom paws are mostly pink, but there is one paw with a brown spot. The puppy might less than a month old. He lacks baby teeth and struggles a bit to balance. While there are no visible signs of physical abuse, there were indicators that the puppy was abandoned. The puppy is chubby and weighs around five pounds making unlikely he was a stray pup. Second, he fears humans even though he is warming up to us. The puppy will seek a dark place around our house to hide, and loud voices do scare him. Third, when he sleeps, the puppy has nightmares and trembles a lot. The puppy also prefers to sleep in the day instead of the night. Also, to note, the day I brought the puppy inside our house, he was dehydrated, starving, and sad. The puppy put his head on food and water tray as if he was worried it might be taken from him. His actions seem to me he was deprived of food and water for days. The puppy’s emotions seem to get better by day with the help of shelter, food, water, and my dog, who plays with him.
