Description:
Initially the woman who found these two gray female cats found three young all gray female cats abandoned at Harry Myers Park in December. She said one of them ran away from her. We took these two females from her about two weeks ago as she did not want to bring them to the shelter due to costs and could not find a home for them after looking for one. Essentially, we are fostering them until their owner is found or we find a good home for them. We are willing to keep the younger one. One of the two, unspayed females has bright yellow eyes (not green) and may be the mother of the younger (four months or so?) more silvery gray female. The younger female also has yellow eyes but they are less intensively yellow. The older of the two is still quite young and perhaps a year old. They are both playful, people friendly, food loving, and active cats. They are litter trained and we have been keeping them indoors only. They eat both wet and dry cat food, but we have fed them mostly wet food. They drink lots of water from a bowl. We have treated them for worms as they had worms when we took them from the woman who found them. They are tick and flea free and now seem to be worm free as well. The older (mother?) cat is notably sensitive to sounds of a certain pitch such as violin playing while the younger cat seems not to be bothered by such sounds.
