Chocolate Siamese cat, first seen week of Christmas but was too afraid to come.
We have been leaving out food with tasty treats, left our garage door up a few inches, and provided an insulated bed with blankets. It has taken these weeks to gain his trust. Monday was the first time he allowed petting. Today, 1/26/18, was the first time I attempted to pick him up. He did not squirm and he let me carry him from the driveway through the garage past our family cat, into my house. He did meow in the photo — he is not a vampire cat! He was not nervous and has definitely been a house cat. His coat needs some TLC, but he is overall in good shape. One ear slightly tattered. No collar — we will be taking him to be scanned for a chip hoping he does, and it is registered, and that owner responds to contact.
We live off Hwy 276 heading toward Royse City, about 6-7 miles past Costco.
This is a very sweet kitty. We won’t abandon him at the shelter, but we will continue to try to find his family. He does appear to be afraid of dogs. But he has come a LONG way in these few weeks.
